based on the research findings of the past fifty years and national policies for the technology exchange with foreign countries, sdioi has established exchange and cooperation relationship with countries such as russian, ukraine, belarus, japan, korea and usa through the course “introduction, adaptation and innovation”. 17 research projects are listed as national science and technology projects. since the eleventh five-year plan, sdioi has dispatched over 50 groups with 200 man-times for international cooperation projects investigation, negotiation, technical training, cooperation research and project acceptance.
. sdioi was awarded national demonstration unit of introduction of foreign expertise, shandong demonstration unit of introduction of foreign expertise, shandong advanced unit of introduction of foreign expertise, qingdao advanced unit of introduction of foreign expertise, qingdao demonstration unit of introduction of foreign expertise, one of the first batch of qingdao demonstration base of introduction of foreign expertise because of the remarkable achievement of talent introduction. sdioi was authorized to be the first international base of science and technology cooperation by the ministry of science and technology in 2007. in 2013, sdioi was authorized to be the national marine equipment joint research centre. mr. kabanov, expert from belarus, was awarded national friendship prize, shandong goodwill messenger, and qingdao qindao prize. four experts from russia and ukraine were awarded shandong qilu friendship prize by shandong provence government. a ukrainian expert was awarded taishan scholars blue industry leader talent innovation team support program and taishan scholar overseas distinguished experts prize. mr. worontsov, expert from russia, was awarded shandong international science and technology cooperation award and qingdao international science and technology cooperation award. mr. maksimov, expert from ukraine, was appointed one of taishan scholars of shandong.
